"It is difficult to put into words the experience we had viewing bears at Redoubt Mountain Lodge. A helicopter takes you on a exciting flight and lands you in this gorgeous area filled with enormous wild bears. The helicopter shuts down and you just walk around (with guide) watching bears. Outrageous! You can tell the guides enjoy it as much as the guests do. Nico, the pilot, was so great!"
"Just got back from our stay at RML and we couldn’t imagine a better introduction to the 49th state. We were fortunate enough to be there for the Tuxedni Bay helicopter bear viewing and this was an epic wildlife experience. The chopper takes you over the mountain range into an area where it’s just you and the bears in the wild. There would have been no one else around for miles."

"We visited the lodge at the beginning of their season in June. We were fortunate that they had a helicopter there for fly out trips. We had two days where we used the helicopter. One day to go over the ridge to the bay to watch the bears and another with two guides to kayak down through a remote canyon. A third day we went with the guides up to the top of the lake and kayaked up into the river. We hiked while we were at the lodge as well. Our experience was unforgettable! Gorgeous scenery, great people, wonderful food, great activities and peaceful. We loved it!!"
"Not long after arriving to Redoubt we were sitting at a table with Ryan, Nico and a big map deciding what to do. They let us know what the weather forecast looked like and the current conditions. We choose to go on a flightsee one day and go fly-out fishing on another. Both were amazing. Although we loved the coastal fishing and dinner on the beach, my husband and I both agreed the flightsee was the best! Nico showed us so many waterfalls, glaciers and so much incredible scenery. We will remember this forever."
